Da Lat is home of such cool and unique cafés and restaurants. There are so many restaurants and cafés in Da Lat that can satisfy the pickiest customers. From my own personal taste, I prefer pure and close to nature ones. I love discovering those awe-inspiring hidden gems that are nearly impossible for someone to get there without being advised and guided even if there is a clear address on the Internet.
Where to drink Café in Da Lat?
Hai A Café
This place is a bit far from the City so that you can enjoy your quiet and peaceful time. A lot of young people choose Hai A Café as the secret destination for them to take a break from the busy life, to recharge their batteries and to press a “F5” button in life.
Hai A Café is located about 9km from the center. By taking a taxi or riding your motorbike, it will take you about 20 minutes to get there. Good thing that the owner can speak English. So, if you like a romantic, quiet and peaceful place, Hai A Café is definitely on your list.
- Address: 77 Sao Nam Street, Ward 11, Da Lat City
- Opening Hours: Open 24 hours
This café is no doubt a hidden gem that you can hardly find it without getting lost or asking for help in the first time. Being located right in the middle of a hill and surrounded by an enormous pine forest, you cannot take a taxi here. The only way to get here is motorbike and walking. Contrary to the seal impression of French style here, Quán Đương imprints Vietnamese culture and traditions. Here they have homemade wine and beer with fruits, and it is depending on which season of the year. Last time when I visited Quán Đương, they were making persimmon wine since Da Lat was in persimmon season.
The first impression of this place is “Chill”
Being isolated from the busy life out there, people here are having their own lifestyle. You will unconsciously lower your voice, slower your step, and forget about your pressure in life.
This place is mostly quiet and poetic. You can easily see some street artists here with their guitars making a new song, or just simply getting lost in their ways and enjoying the moment. Trust me, all of the hard times you had and the difficulties that you are facing will fade away once you take a seat and have a little taste here.
